Improved Racing - Filter takeoff adapter, low-profile, M20x1.00 filter thread
Improved Racing's patented (US Patent # D1,026,956) low profile remote oil filter takeoff is less than 1.8 inches thick for maximum clearance in tight spaces. The adapter also swivels, allowing the ports to be oriented in any direction.
The internals are optimized to minimize pressure drop at high flow rates. Passages were made as large as possible and undercuts were used to maximize flow area. If you need to relocate your oil filter, this is one of the best options out there!
The oil line ports are -10AN O-ring boss ports and adapters are available for -8AN, -10AN, and -12AN lines.
Double O-Ring Seals
This updated Gen 2 design also features an additional upper O-ring seal to guarantee that 100% of oil flow goes through the oil filter. The new axial O-ring seal allows the screw to be secured with less torque, which in turn has allowed the cavities in the screw to be enlarged for better flow. The entire adapter is now also even lower profile at less than 1.8 inches thick.
